All architectural blueprints, structural engineering drawings, MEP plans, specifications, equipment cut sheets, supplier quotations, and addenda transmitted to JLG Estimating Services LLC are treated as strictly confidential commercial intellectual property. We recognize the highly competitive nature of commercial subcontracting and general contracting bids. Under no circumstances do we disclose, share, market, or redistribute project plans, takeoff calculations, or proprietary pricing schedules to competing trade contractors, third-party software vendors, or unauthorized entities.

2. Information Collected via Estimate Intake

When you submit a preconstruction inquiry or request an estimating fee quote via our website or email, we collect relevant contact and project metadata. This includes your full name, contracting company name, commercial email address, business telephone number, trade discipline, project location (city and state), scheduled bid deadline, and project drawing links (such as Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, Procore, or BuildingConnected). This information is utilized exclusively to evaluate estimating scope, deliver written service proposals, communicate during takeoff preparation, and transmit completed deliverables.

3. Data Storage & Encryption Standards

Project files, digital takeoffs, and custom Excel workbooks are stored in secure, enterprise-grade cloud environments protected by multi-factor authentication and strict role-based access protocols. Estimating team members access project documents strictly on a need-to-know basis to fulfill assigned trade takeoffs. We maintain completed takeoff packages and drawing markups in archived storage to assist clients with post-bid scope reviews, value-engineering revisions, or subsequent project addenda reconciliations.

4. Bilateral Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)

We regularly execute formal bilateral Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) for general contractors, mechanical subcontractors, construction management firms, and developers bidding proprietary, government, defense, or high-security commercial facilities. If your firm requires an NDA prior to providing access to drawing links or plan rooms, our corporate desk will review and execute standard contractor confidentiality agreements promptly.

5. Third-Party Services & Integrations

We utilize trusted infrastructure providers—including cloud hosting (Vercel), form routing (Web3Forms), and enterprise analytics—to deliver website performance and reliable communication. These service providers process data strictly on our behalf under industry confidentiality protocols and are prohibited from utilizing contractor information for independent marketing purposes. We never sell, rent, or monetize client contact details or project bidding data.
